Our Story
Before Dog Mom's Kitchen, I spent nearly nine years working
as a broadcast journalist. Life revolved around breaking news, deadlines, and
fast-paced newsrooms—until 2023, when Gizu walked in, and suddenly, everything
felt a little brighter, a little slower, and a lot more meaningful.
Like every dog mom, I simply wanted the best for Gizu.
I didn't leave my curiosity behind when I left the newsroom.
It simply followed me home—into my kitchen, into countless research articles,
conversations with veterinarians and canine nutritionists, and eventually into
every recipe we create at Dog Mom's Kitchen.
The journalist in me couldn't stop asking questions.
What really goes into commercial dog food?
What ingredients truly help our dogs thrive?
What should a balanced bowl really look like?
And most importantly—were we feeding our dogs the best we
possibly could? The questions didn't
stop there. In fact, they just kept growing. But if I put them all on this
page, you'd probably spend more time reading than discovering the menu—and
that's where you'll really see what all those questions led to.
Then, in 2024, Goku joined our family.
From that day on, every morning began with one happy
question:
"What's cooking today?"
Mealtime became the highlight of the day. Gizu and Goku
would wait outside the kitchen, tails wagging, eagerly awaiting bowls filled
with love. Their favourites? Our wholesome Laddus, Oat Banana Cookies, Bone
Broth, and on special occasions, our much-loved Muffins and Mutton Biryani.
Watching them enjoy every bite taught me something simple
yet powerful:
Fresh food doesn't just nourish dogs. It makes them
happy.
What began as homemade treats for Gizu slowly grew into
balanced meals, celebration cakes, festive feasts, and wholesome recipes
lovingly created for every dog who became part of our journey.
There was never a business plan.
No grand strategy.
No dream of building a brand.
Dog Mom's Kitchen was simply born out of love.
Love for one dog.
Then two.
Today, for every dog who becomes part of our family.
If Gizu and Goku don't love it, it simply doesn't make it
onto our menu.
Before officially launching Dog Mom's Kitchen, we spent six
months testing, refining, and perfecting every recipe. During that time, we had
the privilege of serving more than 120 happy pups.
